Charles Kevin Rish

April 12, 1962 — May 23, 2025

Savannah

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Kevin Rish, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, who left this world on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on April 12th, 1962, in Savannah, Georgia, Kevin spent his life in the city he loved, surrounded by the family and friends who cherished him.

Kevin's academic journey led him to achieve a Bachelor's Degree in Radiology, a field in which he made significant contributions as a dedicated Radiology Tech at Candler/St. Joseph's Hospital. Kevin devoted over 33 years of his life to his work, where he was more than just a colleague; he was family.

In his youth, Kevin served as a lifeguard at Fernandina Beach, cultivating his love for the ocean and a sense of duty to others. Throughout his life, Kevin was a man of many passions: a collector of antiques, a lover of yardwork, an enthusiastic admirer of classic cars, and a dedicated fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. His love for all things 80's and his enjoyment of old TV shows, particularly Westerns and sci-fi, were well known to those close to him.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Collin Rish (Emily Haar), Courtney Rish, Kyle Rish, Karson Rish, and Chase Rish, who were the pride and joy of his life. He is survived by his loving mother, Eloise Harrell Rish, his siblings, Jason Rish (Laura) and Donna Caquelin (Dale), and his nieces and nephews, Ali Rish, Logan Rish and Jacob and Luke Caquelin. Kevin also leaves behind Angie Rish, the mother of his children, with whom he shared many cherished memories.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Charles Frederick Rish, who embraced him in the afterlife.

His legacy as the ultimate big brother and his appreciation for his work family will be remembered fondly. Kevin held a special affection for his mother's carrot cake and adored spending time riding bikes with his sons.

Kevin will be remembered for his kind spirit, unwavering work ethic, and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him.
