Chad Rigdon
Forever 49
Son, Father, and Brother
Chad Rigdon passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at his home. He is survived by his son, Taylor; his wife, Rebecca, his dog daughter, Shelby; his father, Jimmy (Kim); his brother, Jared (Lynn); sister Selena and his nephews, Jordan, Kaleb and Isaiah. Nieces, Salayah, Isabella, and baby Bobbi.
Chad also leaves behind a family of lifelong friends who were truly brothers: Thomas (Ashlee), Victor (Shannon), Brad, and so many more—the list goes on, just like his (long story short) stories.
Gone before him are his mother, Mary, his Aunt Debbie, his Uncle Lorin, his cousins, Shane and Michael, who were his brothers, and his Granny and Papa.
Chad loved everything Georgia. A true Bulldog fan, forever cheering for the Dawgs, and celebrated the occasional Falcons win. He found his greatest joy watching his son, Taylor play baseball, from little league to college.
Chad also loved a good St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Savannah, hanging out with family and friends, and evenings by the pool grilling late into the night.
Chad had a big heart, a laugh you couldn’t forget, and a way of making everyone feel like he’d known them forever.
He will be forever missed.
