Barbara Sue Covington Comiska, 56, of Augusta passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Augusta Medical Center.
A native of Lyons, Georgia she was the daughter of the late James Wesley Covington and Nellia Mae Meeks Covington.
Sue loved life and her family; she enjoyed the beach, boating, fishing, grilling, trips to Daytona Beach, FL and karaoke.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Ronald Steven Comiska.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Ronald "Ron" Comiska; sons, Billy Barnes (Karri), Tony Barnes (Sarah), Steven Ronald Comiska (Serina); grandchildren, Logan, Gage, Damian, Drake, Emmyline, Londyn, Sade', Tahalia, Maria; brothers, James Covington (Iola), Jimmy Covington (Brenda), Danny Covington (Cheryl), Jesse Covington (Jewel), Ricky Covington (Susan); sisters, Schevy Nubern (Rodney), Patricia McCorkle, Faye Brown (Clyde), Carolyn Boyd (Bernard); many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate Sue's life will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. on the Chapel of the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel, 2794 West US Highway 80 Garden City, Georgia 31408.
