Angelica Marie Faison passed away at age 31 on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
Angelica was uniquely and unapologetically herself, and we loved her for it. She knew what was important to her and stayed true to those things. You always knew that she would be real and honest with you. She had a calm, quiet manner but also a lot of spunk. She was also one of the most forgiving, gracious people you’d ever meet. A fiercely loyal friend, she was kind and valued meaningful connections. She was creative, sweet, talented, loving, and fun.
She always knew she wanted to be a mom and that it was part of her purpose in life. She found the right time and person with her husband Daniel and fulfilled her dream with her beautiful baby boy, Ezra. Angelica and Ezra brought out so much joy in each other. She was the best mother that Ezra could have had, and she loved him more than anything.
After Ezra, she loved her pets, whether they were dogs, cats, rats, or chinchillas. She loved emo music, Taco Bell, reality TV shows, witchy things, and sour candy (with a special place in her heart for lemon sticks). She was artistic with an incredible sense of aesthetic—she knew how to turn normal scenes into amazing photographs to save those moments forever. She loved going to live concerts and festivals, and went on many adventures with her husband Daniel to see their favorite bands.
Angelica was born on June 1, 1994. She spent her first three years in Relay, MD, and her formative years in Severn, MD. From early childhood onward, Angelica’s sense of wonder was displayed as she relished outings to the park, trips to the Maryland Zoo, the National Aquarium in Baltimore, and Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Growing up, she loved to dress up and get in character whenever the spirit moved her, she loved to read books and listen to music (even her mom’s country music), and she had the “eye” and a talent for visual expression from an early age. She moved to Savannah, GA, in 2012 to study Motion Media Design at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and lived in the area for the rest of her life.
Among a horde of loving friends and family members, she leaves behind her husband Daniel Faison, son Ezra Faison, mother Cecilia Cashour, father Thomas Sorauf, and brother Nick Sorauf. She will be missed by so many.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwich Cemetery (330 Greenwich Rd., Savannah, GA 31404). Anyone who knew and loved Angelica is welcome to attend.
Visitation will be held on Friday evening, March 20, 2026, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr., Savannah, GA 31406).
