Angela "Angie" Clay, a beloved homemaker and caregiver, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5th, 2026, at her residence in Port Wentworth, GA. Born in Savannah, GA, Angie devoted her life to family, faith, and community.
Angie was the cherished daughter of Louise "Bobbi" Clay and the late Harold W. Geiger. Her nurturing spirit and compassionate heart were the cornerstone of her life’s work as she dedicated herself to her family, taking immense pride in her role as a homemaker and caregiver from her own home. She enjoyed doing crafts, was an avid writer, and a devout reader of the Bible, finding joy in sharing God's word with those around her.
Angie's life was a testament to love and devotion, both in her marriage to the late Michael Clay and in the family she cherished. She is survived by her loving son, Bruce "Bubba" Mock, her devoted mother Louise "Bobbi" Clay, two caring sisters, Jan Wilson and Kristie Jackson, and numerous other family members and friends who were touched by her kindness and warmth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Clay, her father, Harold W. Geiger, and her sister, Tammy Geiger. Angie's legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Family and friends are invited to honor Angela's life during the visitation, which will take place at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel in Garden City, on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at the chapel at 12:00 pm, where we will celebrate the beautiful life Angela lived and the legacy she leaves behind. Burial will follow at Hilcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
