Mrs. Alice Faye (Coleman) Stanfield, 74, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Born on July 17, 1951, in Swainsboro, Georgia, Faye was the daughter of the late Lewis Franklin Coleman and Mary Ann (Jackson) Coleman. A proud graduate of Windsor Forest High School, she enjoyed a distinguished career in the shipping industry, where she forged many lifelong friendships. Faye had a passion for sewing and crafting, but her greatest joy was being "Nana" to her beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her eldest son, Robert Alan Jones, Jr., and her brother, Gary Frank Coleman.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 38 years, Wayne Stanfield; her youngest son, Terence Jones (Alma); stepchildren, Kevin Stanfield (Amy) and Stephanie Stanfield; her sisters, Vickie Cox (Billy) and Teresa Orvin (Johnny); her cherished grandchildren, Lucas and Isabel; step-grandchildren, Cody and Chase; and a large extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Isle of Hope Baptist Church, 22 Rose Ave, Savannah, GA 31406. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
