Adriane Glisson, age 75, of Richmond, VA, passed away on Saturday, January 3rd in Savannah, GA. She was born in Richmond in 1950 to parents, Andy and June Culbreth. She had a wonderful childhood with her brothers, Chuck and Terry, and she was proud to say that she started work immediately after graduating high school. She married Rick Glisson in 1984, and they welcomed their son, Andy, whom she always introduced as “my heart,” in 1985.
Adriane was one of the most selfless, loving souls that ever graced this earth. She was a woman of God who lived her faith in everything she did. She loved hamburgers, chocolate bars, football, America, and – most of all – her family and friends.
Adriane was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and June Culbreth; her brother, Chuck Culbreth; and her nephew, Wes Glisson. She is survived by her brother, Terry Culbreth; her husband, Rick Glisson; her son, Andy Glisson; her daughter-in-law, Jen Glisson; her cherished grandson, Noah Glisson; and her nieces and nephews, Tanya Schneider, Brandy Atkinson, Shawn Culbreth, Tiffany Wilson, Sarah Culbreth, and Woody Glisson.
We invite family and friends to join in celebrating her life at Crestwood Presbyterian Church (6627 Jahnke Rd., Richmond, VA 23225) on Saturday, January 17th at 11:00 am.
