Shajee Ky'Yere Paul

June 24, 2021 - June 17, 2022

Shajee "Ky'Yere" Paul, 11 months old, gained his wings, Friday, June 17, 2022. On June 24, 2021, Shajee “Ky’Yere” Paul was born unexpectedly and entered this world just three months early. He weighed 1lbs 4oz and was not expected to survive through the night. The next morning Ky’Yere was still alive and fighting to survive. During the next eleven months he demonstrated perseverance by following the journey steadfastly without being waylaid or dismayed by difficulties. Baby Ky’s favorite color was blue, he loved airplanes, and music. He enjoyed being held and loved for visitors to read him books. He was very curious, courageous, sweet, confident, quiet, brave, smart, lovable, and happy. On June 17, 2022, he peacefully took a pause on his earthy life. Although, his life here on earth was short lived, Ky’Yere touched many lives in ways we never imagined. He was deeply loved by family and friends. He was and still is our sweetest gift from God. Even though, we are heartbroken and will miss those big, beautiful eyes, our hearts will forever be filled with joy and honor because we were able to be graced with his beautiful presence. He is survived by his loving Mother, Mrs. Elana Lee; Stepfather, Nicholas Clover; Brother, Shem Ken Kahleed Paul Jr. (Statesboro, Ga.); Grandmother, Ms. Lorine Lee (Claxton, Ga.); Grandfather, Mr. Eddie Singleton (Midway, Ga.); Aunts, Ms. Corretta V. Lee (Claxton, Ga), and Mrs. Corine (Eddie) Crawford (Statesboro, Ga.).; Uncle, Mr. Carnelius “Ross” Lee (Statesboro, Ga.); Cousins, Caiden Byrd, Caleb Cotton, Josiah Crawford, Miss Paisley Crawford (Statesboro, Ga.), and Kennyahe Tyrese Carner (Savannah, Ga.); Great-Aunt, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Lee (Brooklet, Ga.); Great-Uncles, Mr. Carlis (Minnie Bell) Platt (Statesboro, Ga.), Mr. Perman James (Wynetta) Brown (Pembroke, Ga.); and a host of family and friends. He was proceeded in death by his Great-Grandmother, Mrs. Corine Lee; Great-Grandfather, Curtis “CW” Lee Sr.; Great-Aunts; Ms. Pauline Lee and Mrs. Martha Lee-Clark; Great-Uncles, Mr. Grady Lee, Mr. Curtis Lee, Mr. Sylvester “Man” Lee, Mr. Thomas Lee, Mr. John Wesley Lee, and Mr. Johnny Platt.
