Richard "Dick" Burl Hopper

Richard (Dick) B Hopper was born Feb 16, 1928 to Troy and Edna Hopper, Sugar Creek Mo, where he grew up and married his wife Jane with their son Richard (Rickie) Hopper. They moved to Savannah GA and lived there over 50 yrs. He was a retired machinist from Gulfstream Aerospace. He was preceded in death by his wife Jane, son Ricky, His parents, 7 siblings, Troy Hopper Jr, Edwin Hopper, Ralph Hopper, Marquerite Hopper, Celia Forgey, Thelma Rogers, and Edna Svedja. He was a lifelong Christian. He and Jane enjoyed traveling and visiting home over the years. He continued gardening and taking care of his lawn into his 90s. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, who he enjoyed keeping in touch with with calls for holidays and birthdays. Graveside services will be held Monday February 28, 2022 at Noon at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Tim Brown officiating. Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C.
