Janet Pittman Reeve, age 84, of Savannah passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at home. Mrs. Reeve was born on March 3, 1938 in Zenas, IN, the daughter of the late Orval and Ethel Pittman. She was a graduate of Columbus High School in Indiana and moved to Savannah in 1975. She spent many years working in retail including 17 years with Wal-Mart where she worked in the cash office. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active with the altar guild, the LWML Day Lily Circle and the TLC Choir. Mrs. Reeve was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, William C. Reeve. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Legge (David) and Rebecca Reeve; son, Brian Reeve (Cheryl); sister, Patricia Picton; 7 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 12391 Mercy Blvd, Savannah, GA 31419. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow the funeral service at Hillcrest Abbey East. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
