Ira David Morrison, II, 80, of Savannah, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Hospice Savannah after a long illness.
He was a native of Savannah, and was a 1957 Graduate of Savannah High School.
He served in the Armed Forces and then began a 40 year career at Union Camp/International Paper Company, where he remained until his retirement in 2000.
He was a member of Landrum Lodge # 48, F. & A.M's.
He is survived in death by the Love of his life, of 56 years, Pauline W. Morrison, 3 devoted sons, Arthur D. Morrison (Renee), Ira D. Morrison, III (Tanya), and Jon P. Morrison, 3 grandchildren, Ian Thomas Morrison, Rayna Deneen Morrison, and Chase Andrew Morrison, a brother, Arthur James Morrison (Lola), of Alabama, along with 2 nephews, a very devoted best friend, Chuck Curry, that will miss him tremendously.
Graveside Services will be Private for Family and Friends.
