June Stamey

June Taylor Stamey, 78, of Bloomingdale passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Thunderbolt Transitional Care and Rehabilitation (Tara of Thunderbolt).

Born in Pembroke, Georgia, June was the daughter of the late Edgar Taylor and Catherine Sowell Crepeau.  She was a Homemaker and a Baptist.

June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, H.D. Stamey; daughter, Deborah Bowers; granddaughter, Jennifer L. Yarbrough; sister, Loretta Thomson; brothers, Thomas and Joseph Taylor.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Diana B. and Russell Lewis; son, Nelson R. Bowers; sisters, Patricia Hearn, Elaine Chapman; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews

A memorial service and gathering will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Brookstone Community Church, 604 Goshen Road, Rincon, GA 31326.

I have known June since i was 15 . June was a very beautiful woman. Inside and out . And we were related threw 2 different families. She was always kind to me and my family.She will be missed by her family and friends.

I have had the pleasure of knowing June since my early teenage years and have loved June since day one. I will always carry memories of the good times we had together. She was one of the best people anyone could ever know. I trust her to the Lord and my prayers are for her family. She was a real doll. Always, Sally
